2015 Reading Challenge

This year, I've challenged myself to read at least 20 books in 2015. You can read more about it here.

I'm also doing Modern Mrs. Darcy's reading challenge, which she writes all about here.

Here is a running list of what I've been reading this year! If a book checks off a category on MMD's challenge, it's in parentheses below the book.  Books that are on my original reading challenge list are linked to in the original post; I've included a link to new books to the list here.

January

Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine
(a book from your childhood) (review)

The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker
(a book recommended by someone with great taste - MMD) (but sadly, was not my cup of tea!)

February

Stardust: Being a Romance within the Realms of Faerie by Neil Gaiman and Charles Vess
(a book in a genre you don't typically read - graphic novel)

March

Ummmm... this month just flew by. I'm going to chalk it up to Lent.

     (a book published this year)

The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion

First Impressions: A Novel of Old Books, Unexpected Love, and Jane Austen by Charlie Lovett

Case Histories by Kate Atkinson
(a book by a favorite author)

  1. Yay! Books to add to my reading list! I'm a total bibliophile; I just completed the whole "read 20 hours this summer" program at my library in about a week and a half. I am currently adding a bunch of these to my library list :) Have you read the "Jane Austen Takes the South" series by Mary Jane Hathaway? I just discovered it (unfortunately, there are only three books), read the first book, and really enjoyed it!
